I've been neglecting this.
It's easy to do when I haven't published the URL yet and thus have no adoring fans to satisfy.
I broke up with a girl I've been seeing off and on for the last nine months. She's really a great person, but I'm not in love with her.
I've many times before made the mistake of staying with someone just to be with someone, to have someone to share the little successes and failures with.
It's not enough. I want someone who makes me giddy, who makes me do dumb things, who makes me get aroused in business meeting when my thoughts wander to the night before.
The distincition between that and someone who I just expect to solve my life's problems should be pretty wide, but sometimes I can't see it.
On Wednesday comes the dreaded Ritual Exchange of Belongings. She has a pair of my jeans and a book; I have her hair product. Hopefully everything will go smoothly.
